I dont understand the idea of time and how God functions in time. If God is both the pull in the process and He is the past events in the process, then is God not apart of time in a diffrent way then what is decribed by Whitehead.
I had Dr. John Sanders at Hendrix for a Concepts of God class, and he explained God and time this way---
When we see a train, we see it car by car, riding past us. In short, we see each moment as it happens.
Sanders said that God sees the "train" from above, winding along a path, he can see the engine as well as the last car, all at the same time. In short, God sees you the moment you are born and knows the moment you will die.
That sounds way more morbid when I try and put it in layman's terms than when Sanders did it.
